Trading :
Trading is the activity of buying and selling financial assets on different markets (stocks, currencies, commodities, derivatives) in order to make money by realizing a capital gain.
Trading Robot:
A trading robot (also known as an "Expert Advisor") is a software dedicated to the practice of trading. It is an automated tool for automatically placing orders, for example in the binary options market.
Broker :
The broker manages your trading account. He executes your orders to enter and exit the market and charges a commission for this. He is the intermediary between you and the market.
Forex :
Forex (Foreign exchange market ou FX) is the market in which convertible currencies (currency pairs) are traded against each other at constantly changing exchange rates. Forex is for betting on the rise or fall of one currency against another.
Scalping :
Also known as "micro trading" or "small steps trading", scalping is a stock market strategy that consists of very short term trading and constant back and forth trading.
Drawdown :
Corresponds to the maximum drop on an account, on tests it allows to measure the effectiveness of a strategy, the lower the drawdown, the better the strategy.
StopLoss :
StopLoss (or protective stop) is the price level at which the investor will prefer to close out his position, in case of a loss. It also refers to orders (sell orders in the case of a buy) with a specific threshold on these stop levels.
